Chief Instructor Needed

Aug 26, 2016

The position of Chief Instructor for the Oneida Rifle Club is currently vacant and the ORC Board of Directors are seeking a member to come forward to take over the job.
The Chief Instructor is largely a symbolic position originally created to oversee all instruction conducted at the club. In recent years, the training conducted at the club has been done mostly by various members or groups with the scheduling of these events being approved by the membership at the regular club meetings. The Chief Instructor is however called on once and awhile to help a new member to get in his three events if it happens to be a time when leagues have ended and shooting opportunities are limited.
Persons interested in this position are not required to be an NRA certified instructor but it is a plus. The applicant should also be good with people and be willing to attend all or most of the monthly meetings on the second Monday of each month. If you are interested in helping out, please contact Earl Wagner at .
